Discovery is where creatives find each other: photographers, directors, stylists, designers, producers and everyone else on set. It only works if people can trust what they see. These are the rules, in plain English. The binding version is in our Terms of Service.

Do

  • Post work you made, or work you're genuinely credited on.
  • Credit the people you made it with, and pick the role they really had.
  • Make sure everyone in it agreed to be shown, with releases where you need them.
  • Respect your clients: only share what your agreement with them allows.
  • Be useful to each other. Discovery is for finding crew and getting hired.

Don’t

  • Pass off someone else's work as yours, or post work you don't have permission to share.
  • Claim a role, credit or client you didn't have.
  • Pretend to be another person, creative or business.
  • Post nudity or sexual content, including art nudes, boudoir or lingerie shoots.
  • Post anything that sexualises or endangers anyone under 18. We remove the account and report it.
  • Share private information about anyone, or images of people who didn't agree to be shown.
  • Harass, threaten or demean anyone, or promote hate or violence.
  • Spam, scam, or use Discovery to sell something other than your creative work.
  • Report people out of rivalry or spite. False or bad-faith reports can get your own account suspended.

Who can be on Discovery

You need to be 18 or over to list a profile. Listing is your choice and you can turn it off any time in Settings.

How we check

Every photo and video is checked automatically when it’s uploaded, and anything that looks like nudity waits for a person to look at it before anyone else can see it. After that we rely on you: use Report in the … menu on any project or profile. A person reads every report.

What happens if the rules are broken

We may remove the content, hide the profile from Discovery, or suspend or close the account. Serious cases, like anything involving a child, mean the account is closed straight away and reported to the authorities. Members who keep posting work that isn’t theirs lose their account. If you think we got it wrong, tell us through Help & Support and we’ll look again.

Copyright

If your work is on SetBook without your permission, report it, or send a copyright notice through the form on Help & Support even if you don’t have an account. Tell us who you are, which work is yours and where it appears.
