Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. SetBook uses very few, and none for advertising. This page lists every one, plus the other things we keep in your browser’s storage, and why. It sits under our Privacy Policy.
At a glance
- Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember a few settings, like dark mode.
- A referral cookie is only set if someone’s invite link brought you here.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we’ll ask you first.
1. Essential cookies
These make SetBook work. Without them you can’t stay signed in, so they don’t need your consent and can’t be switched off inside SetBook.
2. Referral cookies
Only set when you arrive through a referral or affiliate link, and only so the person who sent you is credited. Nothing is shared with advertisers.
3. Browser storage
Not cookies, but stored the same way and never sent to anyone else: small preferences that stay on your device.
4. Error monitoring
We use Sentry to find and fix bugs. When something breaks, it records the error and a replay of the moments before it, and it records a replay of a small share of other visits (about 5%) so we can see where people get stuck. Replays mask all text and anything you type, and block images and video, so they show the layout of the page and where you clicked, not your content. Sentry uses your browser’s session storage for this, not advertising cookies.
5. Analytics and advertising
We don’t use any today. If we add them (for example to measure an ad campaign), we’ll ask for your consent first in the cookie notice, list them here, and they won’t be set unless you agree.
6. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser’s settings at any time. Blocking the essential ones will sign you out and stop SetBook working properly. Questions? Contact us through Help & Support.
